If we can stay with the soft spot and stay with the tender heart,
then we are cultivating the seeds of peace.
—Пема Ходрон, Практика миру під час війни
Join Venerable Bhikshuni Lozang Yönten and Chaplain Alley Smith in session to examine the dynamic work of peacemaking. Разом, we will explore our attitudes toward aggression and how we can remain fearless and kind—even in the midst of anxiety, страх, і гнів. We will also practice Shamatha or “calm abiding” meditation and engage in a community discussion on how we can nourish the seeds of peace and compassion in our everyday lives.
This gathering is in loving memory of Professor Arline Saturdayborn,
University of Southern Maine.
Немає передумов. Open to all levels of experience.
